The Manufacturing Process Of Hot Processed Soap

Making hot soap is a traditional process, compared with industrial soap, more healthy and environmentally friendly. Next, I will introduce how to make hot soap.

1

Material preparation

Vegetable oil, vegetable fat, alkaline water, spices, pigments, honey, etc.

Tool preparation

Stainless steel pot, plastic measuring cup, spoon, measuring ruler, stirrer, etc.

Step 1: Measuring cup

First, use the measuring cup to accurately measure the required vegetable oil, vegetable fat, alkali water and other materials. The ratio can be adjusted according to your own preferences and skin needs. In general, the ratio of vegetable oil to vegetable fat is 2:1.

Step two: Heat the oil and fat

Put the vegetable oil and vegetable fat into the pot and heat over medium-low heat, and stir well. Make sure the oil and fat are fully integrated and reach the same temperature. This process requires patience and usually takes 20-30 minutes.

Step three: Add alkaline water

Slowly pour the alkaline water into the pot, stirring carefully to avoid foaming and splashing. As the alkaline water is added, the temperature of the mixture rises. Do not leave the pot at any time, keep the temperature moderate.

Step four: Keep stirring

Stir the mixture constantly so that the alkaline water dissolves completely without clumping. This process needs to continue for 20-30 minutes until the mixture becomes thick.

Step five: Add spices and pigments

After the mixture has become thick, spices and pigments can be added in order to make soap with a unique smell and color. This process needs to be handled carefully to avoid the soap solution becoming too thick and difficult to use.

Step six: Add honey

When the soap has become mild and thick, honey can be added. Honey can make the texture of the soap softer, moisturizing and good antibacterial action.

Step seven: Pour into mold

When the mixture has thickened, it can be poured into molds. It is best to use plastic molds because metal molds may react with alkaline water. First filter the washing liquid with a fine cloth to remove unreacted impurities in the soap. After pouring the soap liquid into the mold, a layer of alcohol can be sprayed on the surface to make the soap liquid foamless.

Step eight: Heat and dry

After allowing the soap to cool the shell in the mold, it can be removed and placed in a ventilated, dry place for hot preparation. The soap made with this special heating process can adjust the texture, hardness and viscosity of the soap. This step takes several days to get the finished product.

In summary, making hot soap requires a certain amount of patience and skill. Mastering the materials and tools, and being skilled at the timing and techniques of each step, is the key to successfully making hot soap.
