Benefits of Powder Crystals for Skin
Rose quartz is known as the stone of love (it's actually a crystal!) ), representing self-love, healing and inspiring joy from within.
In ancient Egypt, rose quartz was revered for its anti-aging properties.
Helps smooth out wrinkles and fine lines
RQ itself contains magnesium, sodium, oxygen and silicon minerals, and when you roll it on your skin, all the benefits of these minerals will seep into your skin
Energizes and invigorates the skin
Supports skin cell renewal and helps reduce acne scars
Promotes self-love and calmness
Restores harmony and balances emotions
Rose quartz is a hard crystal, so it stays cooler much longer than jade. It's the perfect remedy for tired skin and eyes!
Tightens and shrinks enlarged pores
Helps even out skin tone/complexion and gives skin a radiant look from the inside out
Helps eliminate bags and puffiness under the eyes
Calms the skin by helping to remove inflammation from the skin with the coolness of the crystals
Best for oily/combination skin, sensitive/reactive skin, and skin suffering from acne and rosacea
Which one should I choose?
Well, it depends on your skin type/condition and your preferences.
Here are some of the main differences.
Jade is a softer stone that is easier to carve, while Rose Quartz is a harder, more brittle crystal and therefore more difficult to carve.
Jade wears more easily, while rose quartz is less susceptible to wear and therefore lasts longer.
While both cool on the skin, Jade tends to adapt to your body temperature and warms more quickly on contact with the skin, but Rose Quartz takes much longer to cool.
These are the main reasons why rose quartz is more expensive than jadeite.
Both Jade and RQ are non-porous, so they do not absorb any products you apply to your skin, making them hygienic and easy to clean. Wish I could explain the difference between Jade and Rose Quartz rollers .
