Jade's non-porous nature makes it hygienic and ideal for use on your face, and a jade facial rollerball can do wonders for your glowing face.
When you pick up a piece of jade, the first thing you will notice is how cool it feels to the touch. When it comes in contact with the skin, it helps reduce facial puffiness, inflammation, and even dark circles (by refining the capillaries).
The simple act of massaging the skin can also help in a number of ways.

Increasing blood circulation and re-energizing the skin, improving its health and overall appearance
Relieving tension and relaxing facial muscles
Stimulating collagen, improving elasticity and reducing fine lines and wrinkles
Promotes lymphatic drainage and eliminates toxins from the body
Helps drain excess fluid that collects around the eyes and cheeks, while reducing puffiness
Helps your products penetrate more deeply into your skin
In the field of crystal healing, jade is known as a powerful cleansing stone. It is presumed to enhance our body's filtration and elimination organs, removing toxins and balancing body fluids. It is also known as a protective stone that heals and balances our inner energies, bringing a sense of harmony and balance.
How to use the Jade Roller
The whole "rolling" process is self-explanatory, but if you are just starting out, there is definitely a "better" way to roll to maximize skincare benefits, especially in terms of promoting lymphatic drainage - i.e., allowing our foundational fluids to flow a bit. -i.e. giving our base fluids a bit of a "push" to help flush out toxins. Here's how most experts recommend using a jade roller.
Start with a freshly cleansed face
Apply your favorite serum, oil, mask, moisturizer or masque (this step is optional)
Pick up the roller and gently, using only the weight of the roller, roll up and out
Start at the base of your neck and roll upwards, continuing to cover your entire neck
Roll upward from your jaw line to the middle of your cheeks
Make broad strokes from the middle of your chin towards your ears (where the lymphatic fluid flows from your face)
Continue these broad strokes while gradually moving up your face
When you reach the top of your cheekbones, use the small end of the roller to move from the bridge of your nose to your ears to smooth out the sensitive skin under your eyes and eyebrows
On the forehead, use the large end of the jade roller to roll from the eyebrows to the hairline and finally from the middle of the forehead to the temples
Some additional tips.
Repeat each stroke at least three times.
Always roll up and out to drain lymphatic fluid; do not roll back and forth.
Store the facial roller in the refrigerator for extra cooling effect
Roll as often as you like - once a day, or once a week. Although most people recommend at least 3-4 times per week.
