These small stone rollers are made with quartz and jade, which provides additional purification and energy removal. Facial rollers are all the rage right now - and for good reason! They are a versatile addition to your skincare routine, touting many benefits and addressing many skin concerns at once.
Benefits of using rollers.
Using a jade roller can be effective in reducing facial puffiness and product absorption. This means you can refresh your face and really let the serum absorb into your skin, making it more effective. They also help reduce wrinkles, plump up areas that should be plump (cheekbones), and promote drainage and decongestion in other areas (under the eyes, neck and forehead).
How to use the rollers.
Start with a clean face and apply a serum or facial oil if desired, but you can also roll on a blank canvas.
Roll up with the large end of the roller, starting at the base of the neck and moving up and out, following the arrows in the picture below.
On the forehead, start at the midpoint and roll outward in all directions. It can be helpful to start on the left or right side of the face and work your way to the other side.
Don't forget the eyes! Using the small end of the facial roller, gently roll outward under the eyes and in the eyelid area.
Once you have rolled and spread out on your face, start rolling down. This will promote lymphatic drainage and help reduce puffiness.
Starting at the forehead, roll down toward the temples, then down and out along the cheeks to the chin. Roll downward on the neck.
Finish by gently squeezing the lymph nodes with your hands. Squeeze the sides of the neck and the bottom of the armpits. This will further promote drainage. Basically, you have directed all the fluid to the lymph nodes and now you need to help the lymph nodes drain the excess fluid.
What happens after face rolling.
After using the roller, your face will look radiant and feel refreshed. Your moisturizer, oil or serum will also penetrate deep into your skin.
Roller Treatment.
After using the Jade Facial Roller, wipe the end of each roller with a dry cloth and store in a cloth bag. Once a week, rinse with water and mild soap and wipe dry.
