What are ice globes?
So you're probably wondering, what are ice globes? These cooling tools are wands that you keep in your fridge or freezer (depending on the product, but more on that later) and then roll around your face and neck to get too much of a good thing. Not to mention, they feel great on the skin.
They are part of a family of facial massage tools, but offer different benefits than other tools, such as shaving and jade rollers. The main difference is the shape and the fact that they are designed to be used in a cold state. Studies have shown that facial massage is beneficial to the skin both after use and after a period of continued use.

The benefits of ice globes include.
Reduces irritation and removes facial puffiness. While both facial puffiness and irritation can be caused by a variety of factors, a quick fix is to use cold tools to reduce overall inflammation.
Tendency to under-eye circles. For many people, dark circles under the eyes are caused by dilated blood vessels in the area - and because the skin is thin, it's easier to see the purplish or purple color underneath. Cooler temperatures will restrict circulation, limiting flow to the area and reducing the pigmentation that comes with it.
Promotes lymphatic drainage. Facial massage often promotes lymphatic drainage and circulation, so using a tool such as an ice ball can optimize your massage technique.
Cools the skin. Sometimes you just need to relax, don't you?
Relax tense facial muscles and sinus pressure. While these are certainly not remedies for any form of facial tension, using cold compresses can provide temporary relief from pain.
