Jade Rollers and Gua Sha tools help to relieve facial tension, reduce puffiness under the eyes, relax the mind and body and improve lymphatic flow throughout the body. By lymphatic flow, we mean the removal of waste fluids from areas of tension through massage and gentle pressure. According to Elle, the use of flat jade stones dates back to 7th century China, and to this day they are often made of quartz, jade or bone, which are cool and smooth and skin-friendly. Scraping tools have been used in Chinese medicine for thousands of years for the aforementioned therapeutic benefits, as well as for cosmetic benefits such as facial contouring.
The jade roller is a modern face lifting device that is easy to use without much practice. You can start right away. Simply move the Natural Face Slimming tool to the area you want to massage and roll the tool over that area. In contrast, scraping requires more skill, so we've developed the following steps so you can learn which tools are best for you and how to use them at home.

How to Use the Scraping and Jade Roller
You can learn to use these tools in the comfort of your own home by performing a self-guided facial massage.
For the chin
To release any facial tension in the chin and cheek area, slide the jade roller or scraping tool along the chin and cheeks. The shape of the scraping tool may seem a little tricky to use, so simply use the wider part to slide from the bottom of the chin up to the top of the cheekbones. Repeat about five times, then repeat on the other side. You may feel relaxed, so you are welcome to continue applying pressure for as long as you feel comfortable.
Neck
Many people experience neck strains due to office work or excessive computer use. Place a jade roller or scraping tool on your neck at an angle and slowly move up from the base of your neck to your chin. To help with lymphatic drainage, push the tool from the ear all the way down to the neck. Repeat until you feel the tension release. The purpose of these repetitive movements is to stimulate blood flow and relieve tension in the neck.
For puffy eyes
To relieve puffiness around the eyes, gently glide the tool over the under-eye area up to the temples until you reach the hairline. As with all of these techniques, repeat about five times, or until you feel relaxed. You can also ice the shaving and jade roller before sliding it across the area to further reduce puffiness, swelling and inflammation.
For the forehead
Now it's time to move to the forehead. For the scraping tool, place the narrow end of the stone between the brow bone and the eyebrow, sweeping from the brow to the hairline. Repeat the same motion with the jade roller, sliding it from the corner of the eye to the temple to relieve tension in the forehead. You can place the tool on the tension before sweeping to the hairline.
For the nose
Slide the tool up the bridge of the nose and down toward the cheeks. Repeat five times or as long as it takes to release the tension.
